As a company, Metal Works is always on the lookout for new technologies and processes to help us better serve our growing list of customers. Automated, computer-controlled manufacturing technologies—like our CNC plasma cut tables and, more recently, our CNC laser—allow for faster and more accurate production.
The underlying technology in these powerful computer-controlled tools is CAD—Computer Aided Design. This software allows us to create an exact drawing of a part, which can be reviewed and approved by engineering before it’s manufactured. We can even test-fit the drawing with other components of the project.
