See how steel made this new landmark possible
Perched on the shores of Lake Tahoe at the historic Cal Neva resort, the new three-level Spa Wellness Center is an architectural feat, and Metal Works was at the heart of bringing it to life.
Tasked with constructing the entire structural frame, Metal Works delivered four massive steel pieces, each measuring between 66 and 76 feet in length, with trusses weighing a combined 50 tons. With the project’s unique terrain and the building’s distinctive multi-phase layout, steel was the natural choice.
